Your Career, Elevated.
KKL offers rewarding career opportunities for driven professionals at all levels.

Attorneys
Our firm’s success is built on the strength of our team. We hire stellar attorneys who share our commitment to personal and professional excellence.
Our attorneys have exceptional academic records and a track record of success. Most come to us after completing one or more clerkships or after excelling at other top-tier law firms.
We seek candidates who are eager to take on significant responsibility from the outset. Regardless of seniority, our attorneys participate fully in case strategy and decision-making. This level of responsibility attracts attorneys who thrive on challenges and want to accelerate their development as litigators.
Career Development
We are deeply committed to the development of our attorneys through real world experience. From the outset, our attorneys regularly interface with clients, appear in court, take depositions, and serve on trial teams. We also promote a strong culture of mentorship. Attorneys work directly with the firm’s partners, all of whom are former prosecutors with significant trial experience.
We are invested in our attorneys, and we equip them to succeed beyond their time at KKL. Notably, we have an unparalleled track record of successfully placing our attorneys in public service, including at prominent non-profits, law schools, and prosecutors’ offices, including leading U.S. Attorneys’ offices.

The KKL Analyst Program
The KKL Analyst Program places Analysts at the heart of our case teams. During the two-year program, Analysts work closely alongside and under the supervision of our attorneys on criminal and regulatory enforcement actions, internal investigations, complex commercial litigation, and crypto and cyber matters. Analysts play an important role in gathering facts, conducting research and analysis, and helping develop case strategy. Analysts attend and work with our attorneys to prepare for client meetings, witness interviews, presentations to prosecutors and regulators, depositions, hearings, and trials.
While the traditional paralegal role at many law firms focuses on providing administrative and logistical support to attorneys, such tasks are only a small component of the Analyst’s responsibilities at KKL. Instead, our Analyst program is focused on ensuring Analysts gain substantive work experience while being exposed to all facets of a sophisticated white collar defense and complex commercial litigation practice. By maximizing our Analysts’ potential as integral members of our case teams, we not only create value for clients, but we foster our Analysts’ professional growth.
By the end of the program, our Analysts emerge with strong writing, research, and analytical skills, honed through comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and dedicated mentorship.
Qualifications
We invite undergraduate seniors, college graduates, and early-career professionals to apply for the Analyst position at KKL.
Our Analysts tend to be graduates of top undergraduate institutions with strong academic credentials and extracurricular achievements. Analysts come from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, including the humanities, finance, political science, pre-law, and STEM fields. Given the international nature of some of our matters, we particularly encourage applicants with fluency in foreign languages to apply.
Our ideal Analyst candidates are high-achieving, self-motivated individuals who excel in the following areas:
-
Analytics
-
Writing
-
Research
-
Communication
-
Project Management
-
Teamwork
-
Critical Thinking

KKL Analyst Program Recruitment
Our Analyst interview process is generally as follows:
First-Round Interview
After reviewing applications, strong Analyst candidates will be invited to meet with a member of our team. This meeting will provide insights into the firm, the Analyst position, and an opportunity to discuss the candidate’s background and interest in the firm.
Second-Round Interviews
Candidates advancing in the process will participate in one or two interviews with our Associates and/or Analysts, which are typically conducted virtually.
Final-Round Interviews
Candidates advancing to the final round will be invited to interview in person at our office in New York City. During the final-round interview, candidates will meet with additional members of our team, including Partners, Counsel, Associates, and Analysts. Candidates will also participate in two analytical exercises. In conjunction with the final-round interview, we will also contact the candidate’s references.
