Melissa Danzo represents individuals and institutions in criminal and civil matters, with a focus on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations, regulatory enforcement, and complex civil litigation.

Melissa has represented clients in investigations and proceedings involving the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Small Business Administration (SBA).  She has experience in matters involving allegations of fraud and regulatory violations, as well as in nationwide class actions and complex commercial litigation.  She has also represented individuals pro bono for purposes of seeking post-conviction relief and in proceedings arising under the Hague Abduction Convention.

+ EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining the firm, Melissa served as a law clerk to the Honorable Andrew E. Krause of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She previously worked as a litigation associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. Before law school, Melissa was a Paralegal Specialist in the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York where she assisted with investigations and prosecutions of crimes involving public corruption.
