Vlad Shafran represents individuals and institutions in criminal and civil matters, with a focus on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations, regulatory enforcement, complex civil litigation, and appeals. 

Vlad has represented clients in connection with investigations conducted by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).  He has experience in matters involving market manipulation, money laundering, health care fraud, and theft of intellectual property.  He has also represented clients in cases involving allegations of corporate wrongdoing, consumer fraud, and deceptive labeling.

+ EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining the firm, Vlad served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael H. Park, Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the Honorable John P. Cronan, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York.
