Molly Gupta represents individuals and institutions in criminal and civil matters, with a focus on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations, regulatory enforcement, and appeals.
Molly has represented clients in investigations and proceedings involving the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). She has experience in matters involving allegations of fraud and regulatory violations, as well as economic sanctions violations and money laundering.
Prior to joining the firm, Molly served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael A. Chagares, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Honorable Valerie E. Caproni, Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She previously worked as a litigation fellow for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County. During law school, Molly was an editor of the Harvard Law Review and a Fellow for the Project on the Foundations of Private Law.
